   FAQs

  • Will any debris fall into my attic during the roofing process?
Yes. Some dust and small debris will make there way into your attic.  It is a good idea to cover all items that are not housed in secure containers. This dust is generally a nuisance and will only affect items that are not covered.

  • What happens to my Direct TV dish during my roof replacement?
If your dish is attached to the roof, we temporarily remove and then reattach the dish during the roofing process.  Most of the time, you will regain signal and have no problem with your service.  Sometimes, however, when the dish is reinstalled over a new roof the angles will have changed.  If this occurs you may have to contact your satellite provider to schedule a service.

  • Will I need to clean my gutters after the new roof is installed?
No. As part of our final clean-up process, we clean all debris from the roof and the gutters. We also check to ensure that all gutters are fastened correctly and we refasten any section that is not up to par.
  • Should I be home while my roof is being replaced?
Feel free to stay home and watch the work being done.  We will answer any questions you have during this process.  It is not necessary, however, that you be home.  It is very loud and many of our customers have opted to spend the day elsewhere.

  • Will I be able to use my drive way during the roofing process?
During the removal and installation of your roof, work trucks will need access to the driveway.  Due to small debris and nails that fall from the roof, it is best not to use the driveway during the workday.  All debris will be cleaned up at the end if each work day. It is best to move cars out of the garage before work begins.

  • When will the material be delivered?
The bulk of the roofing material will delivered on the day we start work. It is possible that the dump trailer used to haul away the debris and some of the accessories will be set out the day before we start.
 Important Tip
Once the job has started, call for a daily clean up if the job is to run for more than a day. Make sure the company uses magnetic sweepers to remove nails from your home and cleans the gutters. If you have a specific concern, bring it up early and have it stated in the contract.
